Your Opportunity:
We are looking for a Process Engineer to join the Building Operations & Services team and support the CSL R&D facility located at our state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne. You will be the engineering contact for process equipment in the Pilot Scale Facility, providing technical support for the equipment and systems in the CSL Melbourne facility.
Your expertise in facility plant/equipment operations and compliance with GxP standards will be crucial. You will manage contract/service providers to ensure operational and compliant site status.
This is a permanent opportunity based at our CSL Melbourne site. The requirement of this role is that you must be available to take out of hours alarm calls scheduled on a rotating roster.

Your Role:
Reporting to Senior Process Engineer - Building operations and services, you will:
- Provide day to day Process Engineering support for the Pilot Scale Facility at CSL's Melbourne site.
- Monitor and track calibration/service status of equipment and controlled environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain current R&D equipment data within the Asset Management system.
- Lead the response and close-out of deviations.
- Support the technical services team and assist other engineering team members.
Your Experience:
- Bachelors in chemical/mechanical engineering or higher.
- 3+ years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or process development.
- Direct experience with Upstream, Downstream, and Fill Finish equipment such as vial filling machines, chromatography skids, mixers, bioreactors, autoclaves.
- Experience with clean room facilities and regulatory guidelines.
- Familiar in data analysis, trending, and reporting/presentation skills, this would be beneficial.
