To support the growth of our CSL Vifor business in Poland, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of:

Key Account Manager Nephrology (m/f/x)

(Full-time / Permanent / Location: Poland)

The Opportunity:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) Nephrology reports to the CEE Commercial Lead. In this role, you are responsible for CSL Vifor Nephrology sales and effective management of regional accounts in the respective region of the Polish market. Enhancing CSL's image within the relevant professions.

Using their knowledge of Rare Disease / Nephrology therapy areas and the account ecosystem complexity, the KAM will drive change in patient journeys, e.g., diagnostic procedures, therapeutic decisions, speed to appropriate treatment, etc. You will be the commercial point of contact for key customers in the dedicated region.

The Role:

  • Achieve challenging sales targets in the area in alignment with the CEE and Poland Commercial Lead.
  • Regular visits to existing and potential customers, focusing on identified KOLs.
  • Acquire new accounts and further increase the market share.
  • Detailed reports of customer contacts, visits, and meetings with the CEE and local team and precise reporting in the CSL Vifor CRM tool.
  • Tracking of customer performance in the Area. Periodical review of progress against objectives and strategic plan.
  • Managing tenders' administration closely with the Commercial Nephrology Lead Poland and wholesalers, respecting competition and antimonopoly regulations.
  • Realisation of opportunistic spot-business opportunities (short-dated or reworked products, etc.) in the Area.
  • Conducting business in accordance with CSL policies and guidelines
  • Plan and execute new product launches and product rationalizations in accordance with strategic plans.
  • Develop and implement action plans to promote CSL Vifor products, focusing on a defined group of key customers.
  • Communicates the benefits of CSL Vifor's portfolio products to acquire new accounts and further increase market share.
  • Leverages market insight and collaborates with marketing management to adjust sales and marketing strategy for designated territory.
  • Evaluation of customer needs and facilitating issues between the customer and other departments within CSL.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in field sales and/or critical opinion leader development.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English.
  • Currently in rare disease role or specialty experience and established local networks in high unmet need, autoimmune, rheumatology, or renal disease areas.
  • Product launch experience in rare disease/specialty medicine
  • Worked in a role where they have assessed and made trade-offs between accounts.
  • Experience with optimizing products and services to benefit the appropriate patients.
  • A role where a solid understanding of the local healthcare market has driven success.
  • Demonstrated innovative service ideas to improve patient outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to the Commercial Lead Poland.
