Global Operational Excellence Lead

The purpose of this role is to establish, and champion Operational Excellence (OE) across the CSL

enterprise, as a way of working and mindset to drive efficiency gains and business value and

establish

a process driven organization. The role drives business transformation via implementation and maturity of the

CSL Operating System.

The role will drive OE and continuous business and process improvement across all the CSL's

Operations Business Units (Behring, Seqirus, Vifor) supported by the global and enabling functions.

They will, deploy and maintain the CSL Operating System based upon LEAN and Six Sigma Principles.

The role will lead and direct a team of OE Leaders that create process and metric measurement

standardization and excellence across all aspects of CSL operations, coaching and mentoring

colleagues in the tools and methodologies that deliver sustainable change to deliver year on year

improvements. This role will develop and establish a strategic OE Roadmap translated in individual site

action plans that involves leading projects both at site and global levels involved in delivering process

improvements, optimized line loading with no compromise to safety or quality considerations.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills; the ability to

work autonomously whilst setting the ambition and direction for OE across CSL. The role requires a

strong capability in the key concepts of OE including lean thinking and six-sigma with an ability to

articulate the vision using performance data and inspire and engage colleagues at all levels of the

business. This role will require travel activities, and demonstration of the right leadership behaviors

across the CSL operations and sites.

This role requires excellent collaboration, influencing and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a

matrixed reporting environment. This role understands the business context and importance of driving

innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices that deliver outcomes in line with CSL's core

business objectives and 2030 Vision.
