Field Medical Leader

The Opportunity

CSL Behring is looking for a passionate Field Medical Leader to join the Medical Affairs team at our Melbourne office.

In this field-based role, you will report to the Director of Medical Affairs - ANZ and ensure a strong Field Medical presence through development and maintenance of a best practice and professional team of Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSLs).

The Role

• Lead field medical engagement with Thought Leaders and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
• Manage the dissemination of scientific, clinical, and health economic information.
• Coordinate and evaluate information relevant to CSL Behring's products.
• Participate in projects addressing gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with key thought leaders and internal stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective deliverables.
• Contribute to data generation and dissemination.
• Oversee budget management and communicate variances.

• Degree in nursing, pharmacy, or an advanced degree in science/medicine (MD, PhD, PharmD).
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience as an MSL.
• 3+ years of MSL management experience.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel up to 75%, including weekends.
• Experience in setting and monitoring MSL KPIs.
• Application of Medical Excellence frameworks for team development.
