External Supply Integration Sr. Manager - EMEA

As the External Supply Integration Sr. Manager - EMEA at CSL Behring, you will ensure our external operations within the EMEA region align with our growth aspirations and maintain supply integrity. This role involves establishing operational capabilities through outsourcing and external supply networks. You will develop strategies, build essential end-to-end (E2E) operational networks, and manage key partner relationships to support CSL's long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead CMO/CDMO partnerships (referred to as "external partners") in the EMEA region as part of the overall External Supply Integration strategy.
  • Implement projects and operationally lead established external partnerships to meet defined performance measures.
  • Establish product/service agreements and operational protocols with external partners.
  • Monitor partners and track external processes.
  • Develop project plans, risk management plans, and lead implementation projects for drug substance, fill and finish, and packaging operations.
  • Develop milestone plans and goals to provide clear direction for assigned partnerships.
  • Ensure essential supply chain interfaces between external partners and CSL are maintained, and that planning, quality, and supply requirements are transparent and understood within CSL and the partner organization.
  • Ensure compliance between E2E supply, external supply integration, new product development, and network strategy for responsible unit operations.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to define supply chain and operating models for new business.
  • Travel required: approximately 10-15%.
  • Remote employees must be located close to a CSL Behring site.

Skills and Experience
  • University degree in life sciences, engineering, or business; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience, including 5 years in leadership roles in multi-location environments, leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in operations (e.g. upstream and downstream bulk drug substance and/or aseptic filling drug product), supply chain, and commercial contract negotiation.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Fluent in English
