The Opportunity

Director, Hire to Retire Solution Architecture role is a strategic specialist for the enterprise, driving a focus of quality and efficiency for our employee experience. This important role involves defining holistic solution architectures for our employee experiences, from recruiting through retirement. Partnering closing with HR Employee Experience leader and the I&T HR Solution Delivery leader, you will work with important partners to solve complex challenges for our global enterprise.

The Role

1. Partnering with VP of Employee Operations, Enterprise Architecture, and HR Solution Delivery teams, establish a cohesive roadmap and transition architecture state that encompasses the strategy driving CSL's employee experience agenda.

2. Define and lead solution architecture for the Hire to Retire space, establishing and applying enterprise patterns across the products and platforms.

3. Promote and mature a platform-first strategy around employee lifecycle management capabilities across identity management and HR solutions, specifically Workday.

4. Eliminate redundancy and inefficiencies within the product portfolio, driving tech debt reduction and agreement to City Plan.

5. Serve as the Product Owner for the employee experience as it relates to identity management. Allow a strategy that achieves a One CSL.com identity.

6. Along with the Director of HR Solution Delivery, ensure integrity and excellence of data management within LeanIX.

7. Recommend and align programs across the portfolio to ensure foundational capabilities are being used and matured as it relates to the Employee Experience. Ensure appropriate identification of interdependencies and sequencing is achieved.

8. Talent Development: Hire, develop and retain critical talent, modernization our delivery methodologies to align to a platform delivery mindset. Provide mentorship and guidance for directs and the broader technology delivery organization.

9. Financial Accountability - Ensure accurate financial budgets are observed across your programs and cost centers. Be a model of financial stewardship for your team to mirror.

10. Product and Agile Execution Shift - Define the product solution portfolio and bring business and technology partners on the journey of change. Promote industry best practices and set a high bar of standards, establishing a quarterly pace of change.

11. Partner Collaboration: Managing both business and I&T partners, ensure successful collaboration and progression of the enterprise agenda. Challenge and shift current ways of working that up levels the entire organization.

12. Delivery Management: Plan and manage concurrent delivery projects across the targeted portfolio, optimizing delivery capacity and ensure value creation.

13. Technology Expert - Stay up to date on current trends in industry and within the technology landscape for adoption and applying improvements creating value for the enterprise.

Your Skills & Experience
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in the technology landscape, demonstrating continued growth and span of experience.
  • 10+ years' operating within an architecture leader responsibility.
  • 10+ years defining and building solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience delivering solution in a regulated environments at a global scale.
  • 5+ years-focused architecting solutions that directly affect the employee experience.
  • 5+ years delivering solutions applying modern cloud PaaS.
  • Understanding of cloud application architecture patterns and experience using DevSecOps.
  • Demonstrated experience with Workday platform.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of SSO frameworks.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of modern integration patterns.
  • Team building skills to be expanded upon.
