Are you passionate about the intricate details of legal contracts? Do you thrive in environments where governance, efficiency and frequent optimization are essential to business success? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as Contract Manager.

In this role, as Contracts Analyst for the EMEA region, you will work under the direction of the Regional Lead EMEA supporting the CSL enterprise with:

- Acting as an effective liaison to the CSL Business Partners by providing legal advice and support through the contracting lifecycle.

- Delivering high quality, efficient and streamlined contracting support.

Role and responsibilities

- Independently draft, review and negotiate end to end, a variety of standard agreements applicable to the region (such as Master Services Agreements, Health Care Professional contracts, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Data Processing Agreements amongst others).

- Develop & maintain templates for standard agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

- Identify optimization opportunities to gain more efficient legal services support to the business.

- Develop and deliver training content related to standard agreements to Business Partners.

- Develop and maintain content for FAQs on standard agreement templates and processes.

- Provide solutions focused, high-quality and timely legal support to Business Partners regarding a range of legal issues and act as a liaison with the different departments to ensure effective issue resolution.

- Maintain the integrity of the agreements by effectively using the company's contract lifecycle management platform.

Educational Background and Experience
  • Master of Law, preferably with Swiss or European Bar Exam.
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements in a reputable law firm or international corporate setting.
  • Biotech or pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities of the enterprise in the region.
  • Strong contracts drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with internal Legal Partners, Business Partners and external parties with tact and diplomacy to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Strong computer literacy including competency in Microsoft Office suite; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and systems.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Additional languages, in particular German and French, are a plus.
