You will be a member of the Automation team and report to the Head of Automation at the Holly Springs site. Benefits Include Outdoor Amenities, Onsite Café, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with a 6% match, and PTO available from your first day of hire.
Operate under the general guidance of the Head of Automation Engineering, Principal Engineer, or Manager Engineer. You will Provide technical support with assigned unit operations. Lead investigations, solves problems to root cause, implements corrective actions, implements simple change controls, executes validation qualifications, and supports projects. Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and develops sound engineering solutions to address identified problems. Perform engineering tasks for the design, procurement, fabrication, and/or commissioning phases associated with standard or custom systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing infrastructure for computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Support the automation engineering support strategy and organization to ensure reliable, safe operation of the process equipment and utility systems during and after installation.
- Become a subject matter expert who participates in and leads cross-functional initiatives to lead and ensure the automation systems are designed and operate reliably to meet the business objectives across the Holly Springs site.
- Utilize the diversity of team members to achieve business success.
- Resolve problems escalated to this role as needed due to complexity and/or advanced technical knowledge required.
- Assist others in solving problems when possessing familiarity or past exposure.
- Problems are typically solved by drawing upon prior experience and analyses of issues.
- Apply functional and technical expertise to solve problems/issues affecting the team.
- Develop skills in multiple teams, identifying ways to use new skills to streamline processes within the team.
- Be a source of technical expertise, serving as a role model for others, displaying functional capability and acquiring new skills.
