The Opportunity:
You will be responsible for all Competitive Intelligence (CI) support for the TA globally, leading to actionable insights.
This role will be critical for investigating, and answering key business questions globally, influencing Forecasting, Market Research, R&D and contributing to strategic decisions for various programs across the organization
The role:
- Primary point of CI contact across several TAs (including, but not limited to, Transplant & Immunology, Hematology).
- Will support CI Lead to support business decisions at SVP/VP/ Leadership level to help make strategic business decisions
- Develop and handle a range of intelligence requests, from earnings analysis to in-depth competitive studies, market landscape assessments, and data-driven dashboards

Your skills and experience:
- BA/BS degree required. Masters, PhD or equivalent graduate degree; life science discipline a plus
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry; plus at least 3+ years or experience working within CI teams in biotech/pharma industry,
- Experience in rare diseases within a CSL Behring focused therapy area as well as specialty product analytics is considered a plus
- Expertise in conducting primary and secondary competitive intelligence within the biopharma industry with understanding of the CI compliance and SCIP guidelines
- Experience and ability to integrate marketing and science in multiple disease states and therapy areas.
- Experience with clinical data interpretation as well as competitive intelligence is important
- Ability to extract key insights from CI research, and communicating them clearly to cross-functional stakeholders at various management levels
- Deep knowledge of various syndicated CI data-sources, vendors and systems - both global and regional; and their capabilities/limitations related to competitive insights delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with organization leaders and key external stakeholders
- Excellent communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Experience managing a budget and CI vendors
