Director of Transaction Management

Full Time, Hybrid

Intro:

The GCM Luxembourg Business Unit is split in two teams: Capital Markets 1 (CSC legacy team) and Capital Markets 2 (ITL legacy team). We are hiring a Head of Capital Markets for the Capital Markets Team 1.

Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Responsible for the management of the team portfolio and collaborate with your team to manage the portfolio of clients, the service delivery and operational KPYs. Accelerating growth in the team: support to new business from new clients, existing clients, products & services and responsible for the pricing.
  • Responsible in the management of the financial affairs of the team, including budgeting, monitoring against performance, review of staff time charging, over-run analysis and profitability and preparation of fee proposals for new and existing clients.
  • Assist the team with technical matters and share knowledge where possible.
  • Ensure that all statutory returns are prepared and submitted as required.
  • Manage team interaction, conducting meetings as appropriate. Take care of and establish good relationships both internally and externally with third parties.
  • Manage key client and intermediary relationships. Communicate openly in a professional manner. Conduct client and intermediary visits as required.
  • Consider at all times the "Money Laundering" and "Know Your Clients" policies and report any concerns to your leader / Compliance Team.
  • Responsible for people management and HR matters.
  • Support and implementation of new Group projects.
  • Pro-actively complete client take-on process and on-going reviews of clients.
  • Ensure client records and systems are kept up to date for the team portfolio of clients.
  • Assist the Director(s) in supervising staff within the team, including, mentoring, compliance with standard policies and procedures, recruitment, resourcing, training and development.
  • Provide new, innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of daily tasks.
  • Contribute to the department's strategy for growth and participate actively in team and management strategy sessions
  • Availability to travel and attend business/commercial events on a monthly basis.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need:
  • Broad understanding of the wide range of corporate services offered by CSC globally.
  • Have expert knowledge of local legislation / Corporate Governance.
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to inspire and develop junior staff members.
  • Proven experience in managing a team, support business growth, pricing and fees negotiation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
