- Location
Yardley, PA (USA) or Wantage (UK). This is an office-based position, and individuals are expected to be in the office daily. Crown offers a flexible work hour schedule.
- Summary of Position
The Global Security Engineer will lead and assist in cyber security tool implementation and improvement projects and activities globally. This position will work with the Global Security Architect to assist in continuos improvements of the cybersecurity posture across the entire enterprise.
The position will also need to work closely with the regional IT and security teams all around the globe, providing guidance, leadership and assistance wherever possible to ensure cybersecurity projects and activities are delivered fully and efficiently.
- Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in the implementation of global cybersecurity projects and initiatives through technical expertise, strategic planning, project management and coordination with regional IT teams
- Oversee and drive cyber security initiatives, ensuring timely and complete execution
- Coordinate cybersecurity-driven changes and improvements across Crown’s global operations
- Identify, assess, and implement cybersecurity solutions to improve Crown’s cyber security posture globally
- Optimize existing tools, processes and technologies to enhance protection
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate information security risks and emerging threats
- Stay current with industry best practices and evolving security technologies
- Evaluate security frameworks, existing security measures and alignment with best practices
- Conduct system analysis and testing to validate cybersecurity tools and processes
- Job Requirements
Crown seeks a passionate security professional with a strong drive to complete projects and investigations, along with expertise in IT infrastructure and security operations in manufacturing.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Preferred security certifications: CISM, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP or other similar
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge of or experience with following an Information Security framework (NIST, ISO 27001, 27002 etc)
- Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, or Lockheed Kill Chain methodology
- Understanding of Security Standards in corporate IT environments
- Experience managing large projects and/or which span multiple countries and cultures
- Expertise in one or more areas: Data Protection, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Identity Security, or Incident Response
- Strong technical knowledge of various security toolsets, such as; SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, IAM, Network Security, Vulnerability Management etc
- Good technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, and applications
