About The Role:
Adaptive Shield, a CrowdStrike company, is an industry leader in the emerging SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) and Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) market. Our Threat Hunting team is seeking a motivated researcher with excellent technical skills and a passion for research and detection-engineering. Threat Hunters in Adaptive Shield are expected to conduct both a thorough technical research of the SaaS ecosystem with deep intelligence research of newly-found threat actors and adversaries' infrastructure. The job demands detecting anomalies, following research leads, developing tools and automations to support analysis, and building sophisticated detection mechanisms that construct our threat detection engine.
What You'll Do:
We are looking for someone curious, innovative and experienced to join our Threat Hunting team. You'll jump into tons of data from different SaaS providers, finding hidden patterns in logs and finding the anomalies that indicate malicious activities (tweaking our threat detection rules to catch any sneaky cyber attacks). You'll get to imagine new ways to detect threats, deepen your cloud cybersecurity understanding, and spot attacker campaigns across 140+ SaaS providers.
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
- Autodidact with the passion for tackling unprecedented challenges
- Proven analytical skills regarding data research, specifically SQL and MongoDB
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong information security background with 4+ years experience
- Solid understanding of network protocols
- Solid software development experience in Python
- Excellent problem solving skills, creativity and strong analytical skills to investigate, assess, validate, and think outside the box
- Familiarity with SaaS/cloud security
- Experience as a threat hunter
- Successful participation in CTF competitions
- Experience in vulnerability research and exploit development
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in Information Security/Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or a related field
