About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer proficient in SQL, Python, Snowflake, Data Modelling to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to work directly with the different business functions supporting monthly reporting and ad hoc requests. This person will work closely with FP&A team but will also support other business functions like Sales and Marketing and will be a part of the Sales Finance team.

You will be required to work the evening shift (3pm-12am).

What You'll Do:
  • Develop, Maintain and optimize data pipelines using Matillion, SQL, Python for Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Design and implement Data Models in Snowflake to support business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process, including error handling and monitoring.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows, identify and resolve issues.
  • Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL development and processes
  • Strong in SQL and experience in Python
  • Strong data modelling skills are necessary for designing a schema that can accommodate the evolution of data sources and facilitate seamless data joins across various datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and querying.
  • Strong understanding data warehousing, data marts, data lakes, dimensional modelling and design
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience with Airflow
  • Experience with Matillion
  • Experience working in SFDC
