About the Role:
The Senior Compensation Partner will support the development and management of these programs. The role begins with supporting these efforts in a secondary capacity and gradually evolves into full independence to prepare for the next level. To be the best possible partner, you need to build strong subject matter expertise and hone your soft skills. You'll work with Compensation teammates, business leaders, and other HR teams across a variety of compensation topic areas to build your brand and to continue perfecting your craft. The Compensation team develops and oversees CrowdStrike's compensation programs which ultimately reinforce the company's business strategy, drive exceptional performance, and put us at the forefront of attracting and retaining the best possible talent. What You'll Do:
- Coordinate survey submissions, maintain our peer groups, and manage the team's market data depository.
- Maintain compensation infrastructure (e.g., job families, grades, titling) and work towards mastery.
- Play major role in planning, prepping, launching, running, reviewing, and closing out the annual merit cycle.
- Serve as secondary for business / HRBP consulting and eventually shift to primary for at least one business group.
- Play major role in the annual comprehensive market analysis which informs compensation ranges and budgets.
- Actively seek opportunities to present to gradually master storytelling with data balancing science and art.
- Support creation and administration of incentive programs which drive performance and align with our values.
- Assist with new hire, merit, and/or out-of-cycle equity requests to gradually build expertise.
- Support ongoing efforts to ensure pay practices remain compliant and equitable.
- Ideally 5+ years of Compensation experience. Consulting, Finance, Accounting, or a related field also works.
- Spreadsheet expert. Strong proficiency with MS Excel or Google Sheets is a must and will be tested with a case.
- Proficient with slides. Strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint or Google Slides is ideal but can be taught.
- Exceptional analytical skills. We work with large datasets regularly and often need to find patterns or trends.
- Strong communication skills. We lead meetings and present regularly, so practicing to get comfortable is a must.
- Strong project management. The company moves at a fast pace and the volume of projects can be high at times.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Passionate about CRWD. We live and breathe our mission to protect customers from breaches and we're the best at it.
- Prior Compensation experience at a publicly-traded high-tech organization.
- Proficiency with VBA, Python, or other coding languages that can transform our automation capabilities.
- Proficiency with Radford and Mercer's job catalogs and leveling conventions.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Exec Comp (CECP), and/or Equity (CEP).
