About the Role:
The Security Awareness Specialist Intern is charged with assisting the Security Awareness Manager to protect CrowdStrike from a wide range of threats through security awareness and education. The mission of the role is to ensure every employee and contractor puts "Security First" in their day-to-day jobs while ensuring everyone knows how to stay safe online at work and home.
If you are a creative team player looking to help drive real security change, then we want you. You'll be responsible for supporting and helping to manage strategies, methodologies, communication campaigns, and training plans to raise the awareness of cybersecurity across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Support CrowdStrike's security education and awareness program across all formats for our employees, contractors, executives and technical operating personnel.
- Assist with targeted communications to business stakeholders on various security related topics.
- Research and study advancements in security offerings and methods.
- Consult with Global Security, HR, Legal Communications and other teams as needed
- Advanced studies in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience delivering Education and Awareness programs
- Ability to contribute creative and innovative solutions to security and risk related issues.
- Program management experience and the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to navigate diverse global perspectives and promote an inclusive and collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical subject matter experts and translate that information seamlessly to non- technical employees and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability effectively collaborate with technical and senior business staff and management.
- Experience in typical office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with charting tools, such as Tableau
- Fundamental understanding of key technologies such as Windows, Linux, and Apple operating systems, networks, application development tools
