About the Role:
In this role, you will take over an existing team of 4-5 engineers responsible for cloud infrastructure and sensor interface as part of the Identity Protection group of CrowdStrike. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager who is able to grow the team, drive initiatives that require coordination in both sensor and cloud environments and deliver high performance solutions at scale.
The team's goal is to design, build and maintain high-scale and reliable infrastructure for other components to rely on as well as to create efficient ways for the sensor and for other product groups' components to communicate with Identity Protection components and vice versa.

- 7+ years of software engineering experience in all phases of a software development lifecycle
- 2+ years of experience of hands-on management
- Experience with designing and building Microservices in a cloud environment
- Experience with mentoring, coaching, and growing talent at different phases of their careers.
- Experience with shipping high quality software in a cloud environments
- Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support and sales engineering
- Demonstrated ability to attract and hire talent and grow the team rapidly
- Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and code velocity
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or equivalent qualifications
- Experience with an OO language, such as Java or C#, or Go - must
- Kubernetes Experience - advantage
- Experience with networking technologies and/or cyber-security - advantage
