Purpose of the Role
To provide accurate and effective support to the local and global design Engineering (Level 1 & 2) teams, sales teams and production teams whilst producing and maintaining technical documentation for all products from the Leviat range. Contributing to R&D activities within the industrial technology team
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for all Leviat products within the group of allocated products for national international projects
- Design of bespoke project-specific products obeying all code requirements manufacturing restrictions.
- Preparation of approvable static calculations according to Eurocode 3 or PED-Pressure Equipment Directive
- Support local and global engineering teams with design tools for a group of products.
- Preparation of schedules showing the most cost-effective design solution utilising Leviat Products.
- Identify additional business opportunities in projects that are worked on.
- Active support of the international sales department in project processing
- Convert users of traditional methods to improved alternatives that use Leviat products.
- Support Software developments with input regarding the product design.
- Maintain accurate records of project specific information using the company CRM system.
- Assist in Research and Development tasks as requested.
- Prepare technical training material and perform training sessions for technical and sales staff or external parties in person and via MS Teams.

Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering,
- Experience in steel construction, plant construction and piping systems
- Good knowledge in Eurocode 3, structural calculations and FEM Software
- Very good command in spoken and written English and German
- Proven ability to interact with commercial teams including customer
- Excellent communication skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to liaise with and manage at all levels in the organization
- Positive attitude and open mindset
