Job Summary
The Saw Operator retrieves, inspects, and cuts products to customer supplied specifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Operates saw
- Inspects and cuts parts for shipment per Operator instructions
- Maintains records of productions and quality issues as specified
- Notifies supervisor of non-confirming product or problems with machine
- Communicates saw issues with the next saw operator
- Patches parts/scrap as needed
- Keeps saw & yard area clean and neat
- Occasional use of cleaning chemicals and power tools

Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings & quantities
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using metric units
- Ability to deal with problems involving repairs, patching & overall working of the saw
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
