Position : Sales Representative
Location: GTA - London - Kitchener/Waterloo Region
Term: Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as primary Account Manager through the development & maintenance of relationships with new & existing customer accounts within the assigned territory.
- Provide consultative approach with principal contacts on products are suggested, and viable leads are followed up on.
- Provide first-line technical input to accounts and other stakeholders within the assigned territory.
- Address and resolve customer service inquiries, requests, and complaints, involving Quality, Technical Services, or other departments as required.
- Develop annual business plans for the assigned territory and accounts, including pricing, objectives, technical support, distribution optimization, new products, and receivables management.
- Assist with collections process as needed and within company policy.
- Provide updated sales forecasts and monthly reporting, ensuring to update and maintain CRM system for ad hoc reporting.
- Collect market intelligence and maintain an understanding of total market volumes, trends, and key economic drivers for the assigned territory.
- Consistently demonstrate company core values and purpose through all interactions.
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business or Civil Engineering or similar discipline, or 3+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience within a similar type role.
- Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality relationships through networking at a senior/ownership level.
- Good interpersonal, negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation skills with good written and oral communication.
- Results driven, flexible, open-minded and ability to work in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and previous CRM & SAP experience preferred.
- Prior Building material/Product material experience preferred
