Position: Quality Coordinator

Reports to: Quality & Environmental Manager

Role Overview: The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet consistent standards of quality. They work closely with various departments to implement and maintain quality control systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Based at our Geldermalsen site the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:
  • Promote Quality achievement and improvement throughout the location.
  • On site ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance and Control - continuous development and maintenance of management system to the latest ISO standards / customer requirements including developing procedures for site quality control.
  • Customer Complaint handling (Investigation, report writing and follow up -cost of quality).
  • Non-Conformance Handling (Internal, haulier & supplier NCs).
  • Conduct Internal audits as per audit schedule, CARs and follow-up.
  • Provide training and awareness of quality information to relevant departments.
  • Maintain inspection and testing criteria on products in conjunction with technical dept.
  • Document control management (version, change and distribution control).
  • Management of calibration system.
  • In-process inspection of CTQ (critical to quality) parts, the Quality Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out regular in-process inspections on the shop floor ensuring specifications, drawings, work instructions are strictly followed.
  • Work as part of both the group quality and cross-functional teams towards common business goals and objective.
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing regular statistical reports.
  • Prepare and attend external audits such as ISO, customer, in-process inspection of CTQ parts
  • Perform inspections on the shop floor ensuring specifications/ drawings / work instructions are strictly followed.
  • Work with Technical, Operations and other group Quality/Environment personnel in the development or revision of product and material specifications, work instruction and procedure development.

Associated Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain procedures, update documents such as quality standards, work instructions, process instructions, purchase specifications and other related quality documentation.
  • All other duties as required by the Quality & Environmental Manager, and Group Quality & Environmental team.

Experience and Training:
  • Must have worked in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance or equivalent.
  • Quality Control, Assurance, Manufacturing Process experience.
  • Internal auditing training is desirable.
  • Chemical and or resin manufacturing environment experience desirable.


Essential Criteria:
  • HBO degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality / Materials Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages.
  • Must be proficient in generating written procedures / work instructions.
  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English languages - both written and verbal.
  • ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System training.
