Job Summary
The QC Technician, under limited direction and supervision, performs necessary duties to ensure the total quality of all manufactured products and maintain all Oldcastle quality requirements and those of NPCA, PCI, ASTM, ITD, and DOE.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for completing the daily quality control inspection logs
- Responsible to oversee that product Reinforcing and other items are produced exactly according to the product structural drawings.
- Responsible for the checking and entering of mix design daily
- Responsible for the checking and entering of specifications of all concrete products according to ASTM, and ACI.
- Serves as field representative at job sites to assist in the correction of problems and keeps all field visits documented along with the person that was responsible for producing the product
- Keep assigned work area neat and clean
- Looks for ways to improve product Quality
- Enforces Product Quality with the Production crew.
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have quality control experience in related industry
- At least 3-5 years experience in the manufacturing of concrete products
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
- Product knowledge
- Excel spreadsheets, Computer literate
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day
