What You Can Expect:
As a Safety Intern at Pike Industries, you'll work closely with our Safety Department to help promote and maintain a safe working environment across our Construction and Aggregates Divisions. This internship will provide valuable insight into the role of safety professionals within the mining and construction industries, offering you hands-on experience with safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and industrial hygiene testing.

What You Will Do:
- Assist with the implementation of ongoing safety initiatives across multiple sites.
- Participate in industrial hygiene testing to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help develop safety relationship-building strategies within the Construction and Aggregates divisions.
- Assist in regulatory compliance inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support the Safety Department in contingency planning and safety reporting.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program, preferably in Safety or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to promoting safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
