What You Can Expect:

As an Environmental Engineer Intern, you'll work with the Environmental Management team to ensure compliance with local and federal environmental regulations. This role offers a great opportunity to be involved in environmental initiatives and develop skills in sustainability within the construction and mining industries.

You can expect:

- Hands-on experience in environmental compliance and monitoring.

- Opportunities to assist with stormwater and spill control plans, as well as air and mining permits.

- Collaboration with local authorities, town meetings, and fieldwork for data collection.

- Exposure to sustainability projects and environmental regulations.

- Mentorship from experienced environmental managers.

What You Will Do:

- Assist the Environmental Manager with compliance monitoring and reporting.

- Attend town meetings and work with the EPA and local authorities.

- Participate in the development of environmental training and maintain records.

- Collect and analyze field data and help with environmental permitting processes.

- Support the preparation and updating of environmental records and databases.

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a college degree program.

- Experience with ArcGIS is a plus.

- Willingness to work extended hours and travel across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

- Valid driver's license.
