Summary
- This is a skilled position involving the preparation of quantity estimates using material, labor and overhead costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must receive jobs and provide complete and accurate bids in a timely manner.
- Will track and adjust quantities through all phases of the project.
- Regular visits to the field will be required to verify completed and remaining quantities and to monitor project progress.
- Will work with sub-contractors and other customers to help ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or other related field is preferred.
- One to three years construction estimating experience is preferred; or an equivalent of education and experience will be accepted.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed and involved instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software.
- Previous use of estimating software is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Standard Driver's License is required.
