Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for being a hands-on CAD Drafter and will collaborate closely with the Georgia Area CAD Manager and Area Plant Engineer in a growing Georgia market. Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and modifying customer submittal drawings per specifications and customer requirements; developing production or manufacturing shop drawings from approved submittals; organizing/maintaining the plant product catalog drawings and standards; and supporting the digital library for the company website. Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring timely and accurate submittals as agreed upon by Project Team
- 3-D Printing of precast products to assist Sales and Operations Team
- Creating 3D product models and establishment of gravity for safe handling of product
- Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production
- Creating sales drawings for purpose of establishing material quantities for bidding/quoting
- Prepare and modify catalog drawings from existing and new products
- Maintain accurate drawing books for plant production and Quality Control
- Update/maintain workflow documents such as Smartsheet for Project status visibility
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements

- 1-3 years of relevant experience with AutoCAD 19 or higher version
- Technical or Associate degree in Construction/Drafting or Design
- Associate degree preferred
- Autodesk Inventor experience
- Experience in construction and/or structural design
- General understanding of manufacturing process
- Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications
- Ability to read construction and civil plans
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Tools/Applications
- Working knowledge of geometry and basic mathematical skills
- Self-starter, motivated with ability to start and finish a project on time
- Must be highly detail oriented, organized, with a focus on structure
