Job Title: Business Development Manager - France
Reporting to: Managing Director Commercial Europe
Location: Within the geographic area of responsibility (Extensive business travel around the region)
Geographical Area of Responsibility: France
Home office option within the geographic area of responsibility (Extensive business travel around the country).
Overall Objective for The Role: Development of new business, contributing to forecasting, monitoring, and reviewing country/sales leads/supply chain performance, supply chain partner management, budget building, creation of a strategic regional plan, developing customer campaigns, and pricing strategies, always representing the company in a positive and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Batchelors Degree (public work/Hydraulic or sales)
- A valid driving licence
- Passport Required
- French and Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and CRM systems
- A minimum of 8 years post-graduate work experience in business development.
Competence& Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the water industry from stormwater to wastewater.
- The applicant should have significant experience in solution selling and key account management within in the construction industry.
- The candidate would also need good mix of product knowledge of stormwater flow control and treatment.
- An excellent understanding of the local construction marketplace, its structure and key customers is essential.
Skills & Attributes:
The ability to manage an area, develop sales, build relationships and to be self-motivated is a prerequisite. Proven ability to achieve sales and build the customer base, along with the good communication skills, negotiation skills and an ability to work with people from all backgrounds required.
