Position Overview
The Account Receivables clerk position is an entry-level position supporting the accounting team and supporting Operating Business. This position will be responsible for collecting customer accounts and resolving issues. This also includes the accurate processing of invoices within our Proactis system and resolving issues.

- Accurately process incoming receipts and ensure accurate and timely processing
- Assist with discrepancies within our systems on a timely basis
- Research missing information within multiple systems and with internal employees to ensure proper processing of packing slips
- Work effectively between Accounts Payable and Procurement Departments for issue resolutions
- Ability to process receipts in a fast paced, high-volume department
- Adhere to proper SOX documentation and processes
- Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Some college preferred, High School Degree required or GED.
- 1-3 years of experience with full cycle accounts payable or procurement preferred
- Must have excellent alpha/numeric data entry skills.
- Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions and implement the same.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Excellent computer skills using MS Office (Word and Excel), e-mail and an attitude for learning new software.
- Ability to adapt to changing and process driven environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High standards of ethics, integrity, and trust.
- Ability to handle large volumes and a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to meet individual deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with team to help them meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and perform under deadline pressure.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
