The Impact of Cloud Security Engineer on Coupa and its Customers:

In this role, you will be working in a fun, challenging, fast-paced environment administering our business applications and reporting tools within Cloud Operations and Security, to include fulfilling identity and access requests. These include applications and software used for productivity, data warehouse/analytics, orchestration, monitoring, customer relationship management, identity and others. You support every product and customer team at Coupa, by providing them the collaboration and efficiency services they need to be successful. You are a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail and passion for data; have a sense of humor and ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced and changing environment. Our teams are close-knit, high performing and insatiably curious. We are unsatisfied with half-answers and incomplete solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Work closely with cloud engineers, software developers and IT to support our existing security tools
• Maintain integration processes between applications across the cloud and/or on-premises using automation tools and scripting
• Assist internal customers in fulfillment of identity and access requests using cloud platform management and identity management tools
• Use scripting and tools to automate manual processes
• Provide technical support for service management applications and tools

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

• 4+ years experience working on security, privacy, development, engineering (one or more) and mentorship.
• Multicloud experience and familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP - 2 years minimum experience
• 1 year minimum experience with identity providers (IdPs) such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, AWS IAM
• 1 year minimum experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for IAM policy automation
• 1 year minimum experience in programming, scripting, and security automation (Python/Bash/C/Go/PowerShell)
• 1 year experience with IAM solutions that manage applications, authentication/authorization as a service, SSO, privileged access
• Comfortable with Windows / Linux operating system administration would be a plus
• You communicate well and are easily understood in writing and verbal interactions
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Some international travel may be required
