Principal Go-To-Market Systems Architect

We are seeking a Principal Go-To-Market Systems Architect who will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of advanced Go-To-Market solutions that align with the company's strategic goals. This role requires strong understanding of end-to-end Go-To- Market business processes, exceptional technical expertise, extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, and a proven ability to lead complex projects and initiatives. The Principal Go-To-Market Systems Architect will play a critical role in defining architectural best practices, driving innovation and end to end solutions from Lead to Cash.

In this role you will...

  • Strategic Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of highly sophisticated Salesforce solutions with an end-to-end wholistic perspective, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior business leaders across Go-To-Market, Product and Finance teams to understand their strategic goals and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Advanced Technical Leadership: Provide High degree of technical capability over a wide scope of IT architecture, data analysis, data model design and AI applications to provide technical direction and mentorship to the Salesforce team
  • Digital Tool Mapping: Engage with business partners and IT delivery managers to draft and manage the overall end-to-end digital tool landscape and capability mapping for the Go-To -Market technology stack
  • Enterprise Integration: Design and oversee the integration of Salesforce with complex enterprise systems, including ERP, marketing automation tools, customer success platforms, and data lakes.
  • Architectural Governance: Define, establish, and enforce enterprise-wide architectural best practices and standards, ensuring compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage potential architectural risks, developing advanced mitigation strategies to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
  • Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of Salesforce advancements and industry trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor and coach senior architects and developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, ensuring clarity and continuity across the architecture and development teams.

You've got what it takes if you have...

  • Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Salesforce architecture and development, with at least 8+ years of hands-on roles in the areas of Lead to Cash, from business requirements assessment to solutions as well as coordinating/leading solution design, development/configuration, and deployment across multi-dimensional teams.
  • Process Knowledge: Proven understanding of Lead to Cash business processes together with the ability to learn and understand uncommon new business processes, and to translate this knowledge into a consistent and effective solution design.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Extensive technical knowledge of Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, Products and Pricing, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Force.com. Deep experience with Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce, and Apex.
  • Go-To-Market Expertise: Strong experience in architecting go-to-market functions,
    including sales, marketing, customer success, and revenue operations. Ability to design
    solutions that optimize these functions and align them with business growth strategies.
  • Complex Integration Experience: Proven experience in designing and overseeing complex integrations between Salesforce and other major enterprise systems using middleware and APIs.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is required. Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application/System Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, and Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce configuration, and advanced CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and design high-level scalable solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring senior technical teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Project Management: Extensive experience with agile methodologies and advanced project management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technology solutions with strategic business goals and develop long-term roadmaps for Salesforce initiatives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, or technology, with a deep understanding of industry-specific Salesforce solutions.
  • Cloud Platforms: Strong familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Data Management: Advanced experience in data migration, data quality, and data governance in Salesforce environments.
  • Security: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce security models and best practices for data protection and compliance.
