Experience Required
- Performs ultrasound services in accordance with AIUM and Department standards. Demonstrates a full knowledge of ultrasound practices in medicine as adopted by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the American College of Radiology
- Corroborates patient’s clinical history with the procedure, assuring information is documented and accurate for the examination requested
- Participates in the ongoing process of Quality Improvement via data collection, and customer and guest relations. Maintains all necessary documentation of Quality Control monitors

Education Requirements
- Education - Satisfactory Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Program
License/Certification Requirements
- BLS/CPR required post hire of 6 months
- Certification/s – ARDMS and RVT Required - Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- If no RVT certification must gain certification within 6 months of hire date
