Short Description
- Manager focused primarily on a consultative basis. Performs rounding meetings with hiring managers to ensure service level agreements, opening/requisition validation and prioritization. Performs requisition intake sessions. Posts requisitions internally and externally based on Policy. Performs sourcing and screening for agreed upon requisitions. Negotiate all offers (compensation, start dates, relocation, etc.) presented within assigned recruiting areas to ensure equitable hires throughout the system.
- Oversees the Talent Ambassadors efforts to ensure new hires compliance to the onboarding process and new hire file completeness. Hands off the hiring process/practice after the offer is accepted and the offer letter has been approved/accepted by the candidate. Dispositions candidates not selected post pre-screening step where recruiter was involved, and all candidates were not.
- Guide candidates and hiring managers through the hiring process, keeping all parties informed at all stages of the process by initiating clear and timely communication. Use behavioral based interview techniques to evaluate and recommend candidates for selection. Manager focused primarily on a consultative basis.

- Demonstrate competent and compliant use of the organization’s current HRIS technology including the current Applicant Tracking System (ATS), associated systems and processes. Consistently and creatively develop strategies to acquire candidates based on traditional and progressive methodologies. Represent the organization positively at internal and external Recruitment events.
- Maintain a high level of visibility with leaders across the organization, which may include presentations or participating in organizational/department initiatives. Demonstrate a very high level of professionalism and high touch customer service to all internal and external clients as well as other HR Partners. Partner effectively with HR Directors and HR Business Partners to actively participate in staffing issues / concerns in their areas. Use sound judgment in reviewing candidate’s applications, work history, disclosures and background checks, involving additional HR Partners as necessary.
- TA Specialists will act as Subject Matter Experts or Leads for areas, topics or continuous initiatives of TA; Act as a consultant to candidates and clients/hiring managers to help them identify and fulfill operational needs. Articulate and implement Recruitment strategy and tactics for their assigned areas/service lines.
- Partner effectively with a Recruiter and or Sourcing Specialist to develop strategies for assigned hard to fill or niche positions. Lead, develop, and implement system and community career events to attract top talent.
- Show significant independent initiative in finding events, associations and other community opportunities to build relationships and pipelines of candidates. Remain current on social media recruitment trends, and present innovative ideas to drive recruitment.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience Required
Must possess strong customer service and communication skills to deal with all levels of employees. Individual is able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Must be flexible, adaptable, and dependable. Individual is the first point of contact for the department. Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant, Recruiter or similar role.
Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing and evaluation. Familiarity with job boards, resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems. Experience interviewing candidates and organizing skills assessment centers
Knowledge of labor legislation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required/preferred or a minimum of 5 years of progressive Healthcare Recruitment experience.
