Short Description
- For assigned locations, supervises the daily operations of the front desk
- Prepares monthly work schedule. Ensures time off requests are approved according to organizational needs
- Works to ensure the department is properly staffed to provide excellent customer service
- Addresses performance issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Performs annual staff evaluations promptly and any counseling needed for direct reports.
- Works with Front Desk Coordinator and Lead Trainer to orient/train new employees
- Ensures all aspects of training are completed. Provides support and direction to new staff to ensure success
- For location assigned, develop expertise in the computer systems used, particularly the RIS, in order to train staff properly, troubleshoot technical issues and to ensure accurate data input and storage

Experience Required
- Previous management/supervisory experience required
- Previous experience in Customer Service required
- Medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology a plus
- Must possess leadership skills. Must be accurate and thorough in all aspects of the work
- Must be computer literate and able to quickly adapt to changing technologies
- Must have Excel/Word skills, or ability to become proficient quickly in these applications
Education Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent required, some college preferred
