The Oncology Pharmacist at MD Anderson provides clinical pharmacy review of oncology/related medication therapy regimens for accuracy of dosing to ensure safe and cost effective therapeutic regimens in collaboration with specialty physicians and research teams.
Maintains drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical programs.
Provides input and supports pharmacy department initiatives in the daily collaboration with the clinical teams
Experience Required
Hospital pharmacy experience (or clinically relevant experience)
PGY1 and/ or BCOP (or equivalent clinically relevant oncology experience) preferred
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from accredited School of Pharmacy
License/Certification Requirements
PharmD or BS Pharm
New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure within 6 months)
