Short Description

The Structural Heart Program Manager will function as a central figure in the overall operations of the Structural Heart Program including TAVR, LAAO and other related structural procedures.  Expected roles include direct patient contact and coordination of care as well as organizing and maintaining minutes for the Structural Heart Team.

 

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and to maximize efficiency in managing the structural heart program. Coordinate scheduling and performance improvement operations, ensuring  program consistency and maintain a balanced schedule. Other responsibilities include overseeing the performance and proficiency of other employees assigned under his/her role, to make sure we are providing exceptional care to our diverse patient population.


Experience Required

3-5 years experience working in Cardiovascular or CT Surgery in a clinical setting or 3-5 years research experience or 3-5 years structural heart experience


Education Requirements

High School Graduate or Equivalent required.


License/Certification Requirements

Medical or Research Certification preferred


Special Requirements

Good interpersonal skills to work with multiple internal departments, MDs, staff, and  patients to guide the patient through the appropriate channels.

 

Working understanding of the TAVR, LAAO, Mitra Clip and Tricuspid evaluation process and procedure including key inclusion and exclusion criteria, risk assessment, protocol details.

 

Ability to evaluate collected data/records of multiple patients in multiple stages of the heart disease evaluation process and direct them to the appropriate provider.

 

Ability to review data from the multiple testing modalities and report abnormalities noted
