Short Description
Cooper IT is excited to offer an Application Analyst I position on our on our Epic Applications Team. Our team is focused on all things Epic.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience working with Registration and/or Scheduling workflows who would be responsible for:
• Providing first tier support to application users. Answers questions or resolves application problems for clients in person, via telephone or electronically.
• Troubleshoot issues impacting operational workflows for providers, patients, and end users. Act as liaison between the end user and application analysts.
o Participate in testing activities, executes test scripts, and documents test scripts.
• Demonstrates strong customer service orientation and ability to interact well with diverse end-users, Physicians, and IT Staff.
• Patient Champion: Keeping the patient experience first and foremost in all that we do.
• Organization Champion – speak up, share ideas, and best practices on processes we could improve upon internally.
Experience Required
0-2 years’ work-related experience required with front-end registration and scheduling workflows
Workflow Experience with Epic Registration, Scheduling, and/or Referrals & Authorizations workflows
Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system preferred
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred
1-2 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Information Technology/Systems, Healthcare preferred
Special Requirements
• Must haves:
o Attend Cooper training classes to learn operational workflows.
o Attend vendor specific required classes and successfully complete to acquire certifications.
o Ability to communicate effectively.
o Attention to detail.
o Support Go-Live events
