Short Description
Oversees all managerial and technical operations of the Blood Bank that serves a Level I Trauma Service and MD Anderson Cancer Center; supports pre-admission testing, apheresis service, research products and cellular therapies.
Experience Required
Three to five years progressive clinical laboratory experience and/or related management experience preferred.
Education Requirements
Completion of an accredited laboratory science program is preferred. Bachelor’s degree required for technical areas
License/Certification Requirements
Excellent problem solving skills; ability to identify problems and offer solutions.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and respect opinions of others.
Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer applications, including LIS.
