Summary:

The Volunteer Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the integration of volunteers into the health care team by implementing processes for volunteer recruitment, screening, interviewing, training/orientation, placement, recognition, retention, discipline, evaluation, and termination. Demonstrate a commitment to Cook Childrens Health Care System Operating Values, as follows, integrating them into daily responsibilities. Live quality while improving efficiency. Challenge the status quo by allowing innovation to be integrated into daily work. Think creatively, plan analytically and then act decisively. Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum three years' experience as a Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Experience with Volgistics, Volunteer Works, or similar database preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

  • CVA or CAVS preferred.
