Summary:

Cook Children's offers a secretary pool to help our administrative and non-clinical offices with projects and temporary coverage. As a Cook Children's Senior Secretary, you would provide office administration services such as answering phones, data entry, Microsoft Office, and meeting scheduling assistance. Cook Children's is looking for a Senior Secretary who is able to work in a variety of situations and departments, on an as needed basis. To be a successful candidate for this role, you need to be a quick learner who is comfortable working on a computer, have great customer service skills, and is flexible. Your assignments can range from working the front desk of our executive offices to helping organize awards for our employee awards dinner.

• High school diploma, or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.
• Three years of office management, secretary/administrative, or Human Resources experience, in an office setting.
• Human Resources experience a plus.
• Computer, Microsoft Office and Outlook skills a must.
• Must be comfortable working in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to make appropriate job decisions while following process and procedures.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
