Summary:
The Radiology Registered Nurse will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. Nursing care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment. The Registered Nurse will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer service, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. This position is accountable for providing direct patient care and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal/newborn to adult.

Full-time, 9-hour shifts with variable days off, Monday through Friday. Will eventually include rotational weekend coverage. No holidays, no call. Radiology RNs rotate through multiple roles once trained in all areas which include patient prep, triage and patient flow coordination. The department covers 6:30am - 5:30 pm, but individual start and end times vary depending on assigned role for that day.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Prefer at least one year of critical care nursing experience.
- Two years of experience in Pediatrics required.
- Must have the ability to handle critical care situations with a high level of stress.
Certification/Licensure:
- Board Certified Nursing License.
- Texas licensed.
- BLS Certified.
- PALS Certified.
