Summary:

This position is a Masters prepared nurse responsible for evaluating environmental trends, safety in clinical practice, and developing education to impact patient outcomes throughout the organization. The employee collaborates with Safety, Quality, Risk, department leadership teams, and with shared governance councils and/or project teams to promote safe patient care and high-quality outcomes and to elevate the employee experience. This nurse has the knowledge, competency, and experience to lead and contribute to project and program management teams that are focused on education for quality improvement initiatives, risk reduction, and patient safety initiatives. This nurse has outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills and is able to create alignment, collaboration, and partnerships.

Education:

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing required.
  • Graduate degree in nursing, education, business, health care leadership, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience, prior teaching experience, curriculum development experience required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills, participation and leadership in project teams.

Certification/Licensure:

  • BLS required.
  • Current RN licensure required.
