Summary:

Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHSC) in Fort Worth, Texas, has a dynamic opportunity for a full-time board eligible/board certified Pediatric Urologist. The successful candidate will join a growing, high functioning interdisciplinary team which includes a unique blend of pediatric urologists, nurse practitioners, social work, psychology and child life specialists.

Together this team has performed over 2,500 cases per year and 12,000 office visits in various clinic locations within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and the great north Texas region from Lubbock to Amarillo to Tyler to Waco. This unique coverage has allowed us to develop strong bonds with both rural and urban communities' health care providers and families. These same communities also benefit from several multi-disciplinary clinics we have established to address some of the most complicated medical conditions to include Disorders of Sexual Development (DSD), Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH), Bladder Exstrophy (BE), Renal Transplant, Spina Bifida and Oncology/Onc Fertility.

Call duties are primarily on the main hospital campus with occasional call help for adult facilities.
• ur integrated physician network is comprised of over 500 pediatric specialty and primary care physicians. Additional opportunities within the practice include potential locums work at a sister facility and investment potential in a nearby Cook Children's surgery center. The salary is very competitive and includes call stipends.

Qualifications: Candidates must be board certified in pediatrics and BE/BC in Urology and eligible to secure an unrestricted Texas Medical License.

In addition to the main Fort Worth campus, other Cook Children's locations include multiple regional specialty clinics, urgent care centers, neighborhood clinics, primary care offices, surgery centers and home health offices. In 2019, Cook Children's expanded to provide services to families in Prosper, Texas. To date, services offered include primary care, ambulatory surgery, urgent care, specialty care, imaging and outpatient laboratory services.
