Summary:

This position is accountable for performing quality MRI and/or CT exams through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • 2-3 years MRI/CT experience preferred, pediatric experience is desirable.
  • Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Must be ARRT(R)(MR) registered.
  • ARRT (MRI)(CT) preferred, requires TMB Licensure within 90 days.
  • Must be ARRT (CT) registered or enrolled in an approved registry program registry completed within 18 months of hire.
  • Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • AHA Certification.
