Summary:
The Child Psychologist will work with clients ages 0-18 and their families to provide outpatient psychotherapy and psychological testing for patients at our Gastroenterology Clinic. The Licensed Psychologist possesses knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development as well as experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses and a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests. Experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care is preferred. Understanding of the ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred. May be assigned to work with specialty populations or across several clinic locations.

Required Education/Experience:
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Training in child growth and development.
- Previous or current experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations.
Required Licensure/Certification:
- Licensed Psychologist in Texas (or Provisionally Licensed)
- CPR
