Summary:
The Guest Relations Specialist is responsible for providing a welcoming presence and excellent service to patients, families, visitors, and staff through the information we impart, and the personal attention we give each guest. How You Make a Difference When we are at our best, everyone at Cook Childrens feels like family. In this role, you are likely to be the first impression of Cook Childrens. Patients and families are often scared, uncertain and confused when they enter. In demonstrating through your words, actions and body language you show that they are in great hands and have come to the best place to care for their child. You will have the unique ability to quickly establish a repertoire and make a difference in familys day and healthcare journey. Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience professional work experience required; health care setting preferred Computer proficiency required Collaborative work ethic, independent problem solving skills, attention to detail, positive and professional demeanor with high integrity and ethics are all qualities necessary to be successful in this position
- Available to meet the needs of the department by working additional shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish preferred
