Summary:
The Child/Family Therapist (LPC or LCSW) provides outpatient psychotherapy, individual and play therapy to clients ages 3 - 18 year of age and work with families to better assist children and adolescents. Must have experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses using a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests. The Family Therapist must have a strong knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development. Experience providing therapy to patients with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions. Experience with trauma-informed care is preferred. A strong understanding of the ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred. May be assigned to work with specialty populations or across several clinic locations as needed.

Location/Hours: Cook Children's Medical Center (Fort Worth, TX)
Mon - Fri, 8:30-4:30 or 9am-5pm
Education/Licensure & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy or related field.
- Licensed in Texas as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT.
- Previous experience providing therapy to Pediatrics/Adolescents.
- Experience with Play and Trauma therapy (preferred).
- Previous experience working in medical setting (preferred).
- CPR - Basic Life Support required prior to start date.
