Summary:
The Behavior Technician assumes the primary caretaker role for patients in Cook Children's Child Study Center ABA programs (Behavior Disorders Clinic and Autism Services) which includes delivering therapy protocols, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. The Behavior Technician also participates in data collection, training, and team collaboration.
Hours/Location: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm

Education/Experience:

- High school Diploma.
- Experience in an ABA therapy or special education setting (preferred).
- Pediatric experience (preferred).
Licensure/Certification:
- Heartsaver CPR and CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is required within 90 days of start date (training and fees provided by the department).
