Summary:

The AVP of Human Resources is responsible for system wide and daily oversight for the Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition and Occupational Health departments in accordance with the policies and practices of the Health System. The AVP will be responsible for day to day operations of the assigned areas. The AVP of Human Resources will serve as a partner with the business to provide consultative support and counsel and align business needs and Human Resources strategies to support the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related business degree required. Masters degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience with increased responsibility
  • In depth knowledge of at least two or more areas of specialization; Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, or Occupational Health
  • Healthcare and Workday experience are a plus
  • Workforce Strategic Planning experience would be verify beneficial
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are essential
  • History of Operational Success: Demonstrated success in the operational leadership of an HR team
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of management is crucial
  • HR related certification preferred
