Summary:

The Activity Coordinator in the Child Life Zone is responsible for assessing and supporting patients and families by providing essential life experiences in the health care system. The activity coordinator in the Child Life Zone collaborates with the child life staff and with other health care providers, as well as the community, to promote normalization, growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the healthcare experience. As a child life staff member, the activity coordinator for the Child Life Zone demonstrates a commitment to the values of Cook Childrens Health Care System, integrating them into each job function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in child development, or a related field
  • Minimum one-year direct care experience in childcare setting
  • CPR - BLS is required within 60 days of hire
