Expected salary range of $107,100 to $119,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Plans, coordinates, and supervises activities associated with the development and implementation of Exelon's Security training programs at a designated station.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise and oversee the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the site security training program, established to improve plant and personnel performance in accordance with Exelon policies and procedures. Program responsibility includes supervision of Security Training Instructors and trainees.
- Support station and fleet activities in the areas of business plan initiatives, project management, and special projects.
- Conduct post-training assessments to identify impact on personnel and plant performance to identify training program areas needing improvement. Training improvements and corrective actions are systematically initiated, trended, analyzed and resolved.
- Anticipates long-range Security training needs and develops strategies and plans to meet those needs.
- Assures that training facilities, equipment, materials, records, and personnel qualifications support training program goals.
- Participates in NRC, NEI, and management audits and provides responses to audit findings.
- Coordinates the assignment of training activities to the training staff (including classroom, range, initial and continuing training.
- Coordinate and oversee the armory activities, to ensure that duty weapons, MILES, range weapons, and firearms simulator are adequately maintained in a ready condition.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+years of professional security (or applicable military) experience with 3+years of experience in implementing security (or applicable military) training programs
- Knowledge of and experience with the systematic approach to training (SAT) endorsed by the Nuclear Energy Institute (current or previous Exelon Security Training Instructor qualification)
- Experience with NOS/NRC evaluation teams during assessments and inspections.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/BA in a technical discipline or education/training
- 5+years of professional supervisory/management experience in the implementation of training programs
- 5+ years of instructional experience
- Substantial experience in leading teams from multiple organizations in accomplishing diverse tasks and assignments
- Fleet experience with NOS/NRC evaluation teams during assessments and inspections.
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel,Project, and LMS
