Job Description
Position Summary: Technical accounting resource for the global Constellation organization. Works to ensure global compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and company policies and procedures. Drives best practice through research, standardization, and awareness among business constituents. Works on project teams that are responsible for complex business transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting support and guidance for complex business transactions such as acquisitions, divestures and financing activities.
- Support the integration of acquired companies into accounting and reporting systems and processes.
- Reviewing forecast models and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to support recurring and nonrecurring valuation work for goodwill, intangibles and other assets and liabilities.
- Prepare and review journal entries to record complex intercompany funds flow and equity transactions, including the appropriate calculation of historical foreign currency translation rates.
- Research and provide technical accounting guidance in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Provide support and review emerging accounting pronouncements for implications to the global Constellation organization.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards applicable to the organization.
- Work with the business and internal audit to identify appropriate internal controls over financial reporting, maintain control documentation, monitor for compliance and assess potential control deficiencies.
- Support development and implementation of ESG reporting processes aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to emerging ESG compliance and reporting rules, including but not limited to ESRSs, ISSB, SEC, state and local.
- Support the development and implementation of control procedures and other best practices for the organization's voluntary ESG reporting.
- Jointly responsible for updating and creating accounting policies and procedures required by either technical accounting, business or internal control changes.
- Jointly responsible for reviewing business contracts for accounting implications and determination of appropriate accounting under the contracts.
- Participate in and lead projects from an accounting perspective that arise as a result of business requirements, such as implementation of new software or process improvements.
- Assist with the coordination of internal and external audits as well as the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Provide oversight and governance related to the general ledger, including chart of accounts, business units, companies, etc.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong technical accounting skills.
- Internal Control over Financial Reporting experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, MBA strongly preferred.
- CPA certification required.
- 6-12 years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience with progressive responsibility and experience in the accounting function.
- Proficiency with personal computers and associated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software; experience with SAP S4/HANA and OneStream a plus.
- Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written).
- Spanish language a plus.

The salary range for this role is:
$100,600.00 - $157,300.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
